AI & Robotics for Grade 6-9
Our program for Grade 6-9 delves deeper into the fascinating world of robotics and advanced technology, equipping students with more complex skills and hands-on experience. This stage helps build on foundational knowledge while introducing students to advanced concepts and real-world applications.
Advanced Robotics
In Advanced Robotics, students will learn to design and build more sophisticated robots, exploring complex mechanisms and functions. They will experiment with various sensors, motors, and controllers, gaining a deeper understanding of robotics engineering and automation.
Advanced Coding
Through Advanced Coding, students will enhance their programming skills by writing and executing more complex algorithms. They’ll learn languages like Python, C++, or Java, and work on programming robots and automation systems. This module sharpens critical thinking and logical reasoning.
Mini Humanoid Robot
One of the exciting projects includes creating a Mini Humanoid Robot. Students will design and program robots that mimic human-like movements, gaining insights into biomechanics, motion control, and robotics software. This is a fantastic introduction to real-world applications of humanoid robots.
Obstacle Avoidance Robot
Students will also work on building an Obstacle Avoidance Robot. They will learn to incorporate sensors that allow the robot to detect and avoid obstacles in its path, exploring the fundamentals of navigation systems, automation, and AI decision-making.
Solar Panel Base Robot
In the Solar Panel Base Robot project, students will create eco-friendly robots powered by solar energy. This project teaches them about renewable energy sources and how to incorporate sustainable technology into robotics, fostering innovation with an environmental impact.
Mini Drone
Students will have the opportunity to build and control a Mini Drone. They will explore drone technology, flight mechanics, and control systems, learning how to code flight paths and navigate drones safely. This hands-on project introduces them to the growing field of aerial robotics.
Hands-On Practical
Throughout the program, students will participate in Hands-On Practical sessions that allow them to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. These sessions encourage experimentation, creativity, and problem-solving, providing students with the confidence to tackle challenges independently.
